Jeanine Bruen is a multi-hyphenate singer, actress and writer hailing from the majestic Island of Staten (also home to Pete Davidson and the best pizza known to humanity). Jeanine earned her B.A. in Theatre Performance from Wagner College. She continues to train consistently at The Barrow Group and Kimball Studio. Jeanine has made her name known in the New York City cabaret scene; she has graced stages such as that of the renowned Town Hall (Broadway Rising Stars 2016), 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and the Triad Theatre. Various regional theatre credits include the world premiere of Pamela’s First Musical at Two River Theatre, directed by ten-time Tony nominee Graciela Daniele. Most recently, she spent the summer in the Berkshires understudying Anna in the Tropics at Barrington Stage Company, directed by Elena Araoz. She also made her directing debut with "Down With Love" at Rockwood Music Hall just this past month. Among her many other loves and avocations (as if she isn't busy enough) is proofreading for fun, laughing at her own jokes, and writing, particularly poetry-you can check it out on Instagram at @poetinprogressjmb. She's currently the content strategist and writer for The Care Hack, which provides support and resources to family caregivers. Jeanine is also pursuing a masters degree in English because she's a nerd like that. Cooking a meal for her loved ones brings Jeanine great joy. (And eating. Jeanine loves the eating part the most.)
