ONCE UPON A TIME...
A little girl named Jeanine saw The Wizard of Oz 1939 film for the first time. Every day for a month, Jeanine played the tape on repeat in her living room and sang along to every single number in the movie (in full Dorothy costume, of course). The rest is history.
Jeanine is a New York-based actor and singer. A native Staten Islander, she graduated from Wagner College as an honor student with a B.A. in Theatre Performance. Her training also comes from The renowned Barrow Group and Kimball Studio in NYC. She has performed both at Wagner and locally, favorite past credits include Merrily We Roll Along, 21 Chump Street and The Most Happy Fella. Jeanine has recently made her mark in the NYC cabaret world, frequently performing at 54 Below, the Metropolitan Room, and Town Hall. She recently played Christine in the New York premiere of VOX LUMIERE'S PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and was also an ensemble member in the world premiere of PAMELA'S FIRST MUSICAL, directed by 10-time Tony nominee Graciela Daniele.
If you don't find her on a stage or a screen, you'll probably catch her at the library, a coffee shop or a park somewhere. A believer in the little things, Jeanine loves few things more than she loves her family, friends...and pizza.
